I’m Ryan. I make indie games, learn code, and build things that seem like a good idea at the time. My main focus is a video game for a real company Annual Planning meeting. BLACK WATER NIGHT GLASS, my Godot Wild Jam #98 stealth game, is released. I’m using the jam feedback to plan a larger downloadable version.
A short minimalist top-down stealth game. Play as SPADE, use CROAK to read the darkness, destroy the relay, and reach extraction.
The jam version is playable in your browser and on Windows. I’m planning a larger downloadable version, starting with simpler takedowns and checkpoints.
After playing and rating every entry in GoedWare Game Jam #17, I looked for patterns in player feedback—and turned them back on DETOUR. A postmortem on scope, performance, variety, onboarding, presentation, audio, and making the theme part of the mechanics.
